This past Friday the Illinois state governor signed in a law that restricts the sale of cosmetic products that are developed using animal testing 🐰🔬🐭 A few important notes to take away from this new law: ◾️The law takes effect 01/01/2020 - so many animal testing prior to this date is fair game ◾️This law involves both the import and sale of cosmetics that used animal testing ◾️ This law covers development and manufacturing so this means neither the ingredients nor finished product cannot be tested on animals ◾️ There are a few exceptions to this rule that are outlined in the new law, so this ban does not cover every ingredient #cosmeticcomposition • • • #beautyscience #cosmeticscience #bblogger #skincare #skincareblogger #skincareproducts #esthy #esthetician #lablife #chemist #chemistry #womenchemist #womeninSTEM #STEMsquad #womeninchemistry #365inskincare #skincarecommunity #skincareaddict #skintherapist #beautyscientist #chicagobeautyblogger #skinscience #chicagoskin #chicagoesthetician #productdevelopment
